Classic Rotary! A Literacy Project

Mrs. Araujo thought that the best way to teach reading to her students at Safford would be to expose them to the classics written at their grade level. Hoping to instill a love of reading in these 4th and 5th graders, the Rincon Rotary Club partnered with Bookmans Entertainment Exchange to provide the requested book sets. Onward and Upward!

Rincon Rotary's support is part of its Rotary Local Program, whose mission is to help improve the local community through educational outreach. Rotary Local can provide manpower, resources from local business partners, or in some cases, direct financial support to teachers who apply for assistance.
