Tucson Appliance Helps Rincon High Teach Life Skills

Rincon Rotarians David Rickert, John Lee, Russel Burns, and Stuart Katz join Tucson Appliance's Chris Edwards to deliver a brand new dishwasher to Rincon High School. The self contained Autism Program at Rincon High school teaches life skills to their students. Teacher Peggy Lane needed a dishwasher in the kitcken where she helps empower her students by giving them hands on experiance. Tucson Appliance generously donated a brand new GE profile dishwasher to help Peggy in her mission. The Rincon Rotary Club is pleased to have been able to help make this community connection to help kids build their life skills.

Rincon Rotary's support is part of its Rotary Local Program, whose mission is to help improve the local community through educational outreach. Rotary Local can provide manpower, resources from local business partners, or in some cases, direct financial support to teachers who apply for assistance.
